There’s a chance to support the Knoxville Lions’ Club Community Pride Avenue of Flags project today. From 7am to 4pm at Thompson Auto, for each gallon of gas that is sold, a nickel will go to the project. Owner and Knoxville Rural Fire Chief Kenny Thompson says it’s a way to show community pride, and says that several fire department members and Lions members will be at the station to help out.
