The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet this morning at 9, at the Courthouse. On this week’s agenda is a presentation from Representative Greg Heartsill, regarding highway intersections, and a presentation by Don Zoutte, as the AMVETS Public Relations Officer, regarding the potential placement of the Freedom Rock on the Marion County Courthouse grounds. There will also be discussion regarding the Courthouse clock tower project. Also on the agenda is a resolution to award a construction contract with Norris Asphalt Paving for just over $1.6million, for widening and resurfacing a portion of County Highway G-40.
