Defense has let down the Pella High baseball team as of late, and last night, five errors led to four unearned runs for Washington and Pella dropped a 4 – 3 decision. Ethan Butler gave up three hits and struck out six in just as many innings. Marcus Wittmer drove in two runs at the plate while contributing two hits. The loss is the fourth straight for Pella, and they are now 6 – 4. Tonight, they’ll head over to Pella Christian High for the Tulip City Rivalry.
