Coming off a split with class 4A number two-ranked Norwalk the Knoxville Softball Squad has some momentum heading into its clash with Pella tonight in the Tulip City. The Panthers are playing much better than their 4-7 record indicates, and having close games with the better teams in the area. Coach Steph Christner says the defense is playing well, and they are also starting to get the hitting philosophy down. Meanwhile, Pella is making strides with a young team this season. The wins may not be plentiful right now, but Coach Krista DeMeulenaere tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls need to get more confidence and keep building throughout the season.
