A pitcher’s duel was had in Moravia as the Mohawks took down Melcher-Dallas softball, 3 – 0. Coach Nick Ellis tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team had opportunities, but had two runners tagged out at home. Ellis adds that his team was not as aggressive as he would have liked on the basepaths. Kristen Mull had a double, and Anastasia Dennison picked up the loss as the pitcher, giving up three hits and striking out three. The Saints have dropped four straight and are 6 – 7 on the year.
