The Marion County Photo Contest is open to amateur photographers of all ages, and the deadline for submitting your photos is June 23, at noon. Marion County Ag and Horticulture Assistant Karen Ackley says there will be a photo hike, next Saturday, June 21, from 9 to 1. She says the hike will cover scenic spots in Marion County, and lunch will be provided. Registration for the hike is due Monday, June 16, and can be done by calling the Marion County Extension Office at 842-2014.
