A 50 year old Knoxville man was arrested, and charged with two counts of forgery. Ernest Eugene O’Riley is charged with passing checks at two businesses in Knoxville, from an account that was not his and that he did not have authorization to use. The account-holder filed a report with Knoxville Police Department on June 16. O’Riley was arrested the next day and taken to Marion County Jail. Bond has been set at $5000, and his preliminary hearing is set for June 27.
