The Pella Community Art Center has some classes for kids to try out this week. A bookbinding class is on Thursday at 8 a.m. This class will use recyclable food boxes, fabric or wallpaper as book covers and to transform covers into mini books. The class is for kids ages 10 and up. At 10 a.m. kids ages 6 and up can re-purpose plastics to make bugs. Thursday at 12:30 kids ages 9 and up can make and decorate hinged boxes. All of these classes cost $6 for residents and $7 for non-residents and space is limited. Contact the Pella Community Art Center to register.
