The park rangers at Lake Red Rock would like to remind the public about camping safety tips as the holiday weekend approaches. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says it’s important to supervise all children, especially near waterways, and to know where they are headed at all times. She says to bring an extra set of clothes in case of sudden changes in weather. She reminds campers to only start fires in designated areas. Keep food tightly sealed in containers to prevent some of the wildlife entering your campground. We’ll have more safety tips on Let’s Talk Pella later this week.
