The Pella City Council meets tonight for their regular meeting. They will hold two public hearings including a resolution approving an economic development assistance contract with Castle Metal, Inc and the Iowa Economic Development Authority and a first reading of an ordinance pertaining to outdoor seating for downtown businesses. A second reading of an ordinance increasing septage rates is also on the agenda. The Pella City Council meets at 7:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
