Runs were not at a premium on the Twin Cedars’ softball diamond, as the Sabers grabbed a win over Grandview Park Baptist on Tuesday, 11 – 7. Mackenzie Sedlock was the winning pitcher, despite allowing seven runs in a complete game effort. Brittney Roby was 4-for-4, Bailey Stone and Baylee Zellmer totaled four hits and five RBI’s for the Sabers, who cranked out 17 hits and were 10-for-16 at the plate with runners in scoring position. Twin Cedars improves to 12 – 10 and they will play Albia tonight.
