The Columbia Days celebration happens this afternoon. John Pierce, with Columbia Fire and Rescue, tells KNIA KRLS News that kids games begin at 3:30 in the park, hosted by the Methodist and Baptist churches, then there will be a parade at 4:30. Pierce says the firemen will put on a dinner at the fire department, from 5 to 7, and there will be music and a bags tournament in the park, starting at 6. All proceeds will go to support the Columbia Fire and Rescue Department.
