Iowa Realty has about 70 listings currently, ranging from $24,500 to $379,000. Average days on market are about 147, with some only on the market a few days, others for 3 or 4 months. She says since the first of the year, 46 homes with Knoxville addresses have sold, and 26 are on pending status. One thing Chambers wants to stress for buyers is that pre-approval is key. Get with your lender, and develop a relationship with your realtor to achieve the best possible outcome, and get into the house that you want.
