Ernest Eugene O’Riley was arrested earlier this month, and charged with two counts of forgery, which is a class D felony. O’Riley recently pled not guilty to those charges, in Marion County District Court. The 50 year old Knoxville man was charged with passing checks at two businesses in Knoxville, from an account that was not his and that he did not have authorization to use. The account-holder filed a report with Knoxville Police Department on June 16. O’Riley’s pretrial conference is set for this Friday at 1:30.
