The City of Pella will test the outdoor warning system today at noon. Marcia Slycord tells KNIA/KRLS news that this is an opportunity to let public officials know if the sirens or systems in your area are working, and a chance to practice storm safety drills at home. In the event of tornadoes, always go to the lowest floor in your home or building and put as many walls between you and storm as possible.
