New residents in Pella are invited to an end of summer celebration.

Positively Pella, a local non-profit new resident resource, is hosting the event on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the West Market Park South Shelterhouse on Liberty Street. Lyndsey Van Soelen with Positively Pella says it’s an opportunity for new residents to meet one another. The event is free for new residents that have moved to Pella in 2013 or 2014, and the evening includes games and a meal.
