The Pella School Board recently discussed their legislative priorities for the upcoming school year.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says this is usually the time of year school boards will set agendas and goals for the school year. They submitted the priorities to the Iowa School Board Association, who will in turn lobby the legislation next session. Ebeling says their main focus is to have the legislature pass a state assessment in line with the curriculum they teach. The next Pella School Board meeting takes place on Monday, August 11th.
