The outdoor aquatic center closes for the summer this week in Pella.

The last day of business is Saturday, August 16th. Aquatic Center Manager Mallary Herring says the weather has had a big impact on the season’s attendance numbers due to cooler weather. Indoor programs at the center begin after completion of the indoor facility in November. Next week, the pool is hosting the 4th annual Doggie Dip Day on Wednesday the 20th from 5 to 7 p.m.
