No injuries were reported after an elderly man accidentally hit a business in Melcher-Dallas Monday evening.

Melcher-Dallas Police Chief Robert Wittkowski says emergency personnel were called to D & S Grocery on A Street after an 84-year-old man mistook the accelerator on his vehicle for the brake and struck the building.

No damage estimate was given. The man was cited for the incident.
