Central’s volleyball team has been picked to finish fifth in the Iowa Conference for the fall 2014 season by the rest of the coaches in the league. The Dutch failed to make the league tournament for the first time in program history last year, but have their entire starting line-up back this season, including 15 letterwinners and two all-conference recipients. Coach Kent Clayberg tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that he has a slew of freshmen that are ready to make an impact right out of the gate. Those gates will open for Central on Saturday down in Virginia, as they’ll play a string of four matches in two days.
