The Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad left its season opening meet on Monday full of confidence as they dominated Norwalk and Wayne. The Panthers seemed to be racing against themselves at times as they took nine of the top ten positions on the running order. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was happy with the way they finished on a hot and humid day. Splavec adds there will be meets where they have much tougher competition, like their next meet at Central College next Saturday. He says Monday was a great start and it is something that his guys can build on.
