Knoxville Community School District’s unofficial enrollment numbers look to be exceeding last year’s numbers, according to Superintendent Cassi Murra.

“Right now, our enrollment numbers look like they’re above what last year was,” Murra told KNIA/KRLS News.

The Knoxville School Board accepted two more open enrollments during Friday’s meeting. The exact enrollment numbers will be available October 1st and will help determine funding.

Murra says the growing enrollment is great for the district.
