Pella Regional Health Center has completed the process of gathering data for a comprehensive health needs assessment.
More than 225 residents responded and completed the assessment both by mail and online from their entire service area in July. Manager of Clinic Nursing at Pella Regional Bridget Drafahl says their pharmacy, specialty physicians, and hospice care services scored well above the state average. She says family planning and mental health services are two key areas that survey respondents felt the hospital could improve on. A final report of findings will be released later this fall. We have more about the assessment on Let’s Talk Pella.
