A local ministry in Pella is hosting a race this month where the participants will end up a bit more colorful than when they started.

Many Hands for Haiti is hosting their first Color Blast 5K on Saturday, September 27th in Pella at 10 a.m. The route will take participants through five different color stations from the Pella Rec Center to the Mango Tree, and at each station runners and walkers will be covered in colored powder. Registration costs $30 by September 13th, with a t-shirt guaranteed, increases to $40 after the 13th, and race day registration is $50. Proceeds from the race will go towards the purchase of a new truck for their ministry in Haiti. We have more details about the 5K on Let’s Talk Pella.
