Election time is just around the corner and soon residents of Marion County will be able to start filling out absentee ballots.
Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia explains the procedure.
“Iowa has absentee voting process,” Grandia told KNIA/KRLS News. “That means you can request an absentee ballot prior to an election and have the ballot mailed to your home up until the day before the election.”
The Iowa Secretary of State’s Office says the first day voters can cast an absentee ballot in-person at the county auditor’s office is Thursday, Sept. 25th.
