The Knoxville City Council agreed to allocate $2600 to the Chamber of Commerce for the RVTV event coming up next week.

The council voted for the allocation during Tuesday’s meeting.

Chamber president Mikol Sesker says the event is mainly to help raise money for non-profit organizations and push visitors towards downtown businesses and is not expected to gain much revenue for the Chamber.

The Chamber will be selling some t-shirts and vendor spots for the event, which will take place on Wednesday, September 10th.
