Additional charges are facing a Knoxville man arrested for assault Wednesday after he assaulted two officers at the Marion County Jail.

51-year-old Henry Clay Saul was taken into custody after Knoxville Police responded to a person out of control call at Knoxville Residential. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada said Saul was arrested for assaulting two staff members at the establishment.

Authorities initially had no problem handcuffing Saul, but he became combative after being taken to the jail when he assaulted two officers, kicking one of them in the face.

Saul is currently facing charges of felony assault, interfering with official acts, and harassment.
