A feasibility study on how the City of Knoxville should proceed regarding new buildings for City Hall, along with the Knoxville Police and City Fire Departments will soon get underway after obtaining approval from the City Council.
City Manager Harold Stewart says the study will help give the public an understanding of why new facilities are needed and what will be best for the community.
The study will take up to four weeks to complete and will be concurrent with a community survey on the matter.
