Pella High’s girls were fourth, the boys were third in the Central College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. The teams in attendance were split up into large and small school divisions, with the Dutch in the former of the two categories. The Little Dutch were third behind Iowa City West and Gilbert, with a team total of 99 points. Adam Sievers was the fastest for Pella, finishing tenth. Pella Christian’s boys were fourth as a team in the small school division with 104 points. Jacob Lensing was 32nd out of all male runners but was third fastest in the small school category. On the girls’ side, Pella was fourth to Iowa City West, Waukee, and Gilbert. Tess Roorda was sixth individually with a time of 15:41.9.
