It was over before the final seconds ticked off the clock in the first quarter. As heard on 92.1 KRLS, Pella High football put the beat down on Oskaloosa last night, 61 – 6 in Pella’s first district game of the season. The Little Dutch scored 13 points on just four offensive plays, before adding a fumble recovery for a touchdown plus two more scores to make it 34 – 0 after 12 minutes of play. Twenty more points in the second period made it a laugher by the half. Noah Clayberg went 7-for-7 passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns, Nathan Henry had a pair of scoring runs for 42 yards, and Pella came away with 429 yards of total offense. The Little Dutch improve to 3 – 0 on the season and 1 – 0 in Class 3A District 7. They head home to take on Norwalk for Week Four this Friday.
