Several different schools are expected to be in attendance over at Lynnville-Sully for a cross country meet tonight. Four of our local teams, Pella Christian, Pleasantville, Twin Cedars, and PCM will also be there ready to show off their stuff. Each team has already ran earlier this week, each turning in several personal bests on both the boys’ and girls’ sides. At nearly the halfway point of the season, Mustangs’ coach, Eric Karr, says he has been very impressed with how the team, even the younger runners, have been performing. Karr says he has high hopes for his girls’ squad. The Mustangs, Trojans, Sabers, and Eagles will be joined by North Mahaska, Colfax-Mingo, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, English Valleys, Davis County, and Albia. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:30.
