Traffic has opened up fully along Main Street in downtown Knoxville.

The intersection of Main and Third Streets is now open to through traffic after being closed for months while work on the Streetscape project was completed. Third Street between Main and Robinson Streets along the east side of the Marion County Courthouse remains closed while the last bit of construction work is finished.

Once work along Third Street is completed the Streetscape project will be put on hold until next spring.
