Runway repairs are complete at the Pella Municipal Airport.City of Pella Public Works Director Denny Buyert tells KNIA/KRLS news that they completed most of the work on the three week project ahead of schedule. The cost for the patching and painting of the runways and aprons was $330,000, 90% of which was paid for by an FAA grant. The airport was closed in middle-September to allow for repairs, and the runway is now open for full use.
