KNIA-KRLS, the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, and Pella Regional Health Center are partnering on the 8th Annual KNIA-KRLS Breast Cancer Awareness Save-A-Life Radiothon this week.

Marion County Public Health’s Carla Boat has been a part of the radiothon since its beginning and says they always receives lots of positive feedback. She adds many people have said it’s been a wonderful reminder for women and men alike to talk to friends and family members about getting mammograms.

The KNIA-KRLS Breast Cancer Awareness Save-A-Life Radiothon will be broadcasting live from Knoxville Hospital and Clinics on Tuesday, October 14th from 5pm to 8pm and from Pella Regional Health Center on Thursday, October 16th from 4pm to 7pm. The Big Red Radio will be on hand for both events.
