The Knoxville Cross Country Squads will host the South Central Conference meet today at Pine Knolls Country Club.While Albia is looked on as the favorite in the boys race, Knoxville Coach Michael Splavec thinks his guys have win it. In fact he has been telling the guys they can win the conference all season. Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls have a chance to finish in the top three if they continue to improve their times. He adds the entire team fells they have a distinct home course advantage as only Chariton and Eddyville-Blakesburg have run the course this season. First races are scheduled for four with the high school portion of the event starting at 4:50.
