During Tuesday nights portion of the KNIA/KRLS Breast Cancer Awareness Save-A-Life Radiothon, mammographer Kelly Rauch of the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics was giving mammograms during the event.
She says it’s important for women to make those appointments to get a mammogram. Rauch says women can call either Knoxville Hospital & Clinics or Pella Regional Health Center to make an appointment.
The National Cancer Institute says screening mammography can help reduce the number of deaths from breast cancer among women ages 40 to 74.
