Shortly after 3PM Knoxville Fire and Rescue was called to the scene of a fire in a utility building near the corner of West Pleasant and Sherman Street.

The fire was put out quickly. Fire Chief Jim Mitchell tells KNIA/KRLS News that leaves burning in a container spread to the structure causing the fire. No one was injured.

The Knoxville Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
