The PCM football team came up short on Friday night to close out the 2014 regular season, as they fell to North Polk 42-20, the game was heard on kniakrls.com. The PCM offense started off the game with a 17-0 lead, but North Polk answered with 21 straight points to take a 21-20 lead into half. The Comets scored three more touchdowns in the second half to seal the win. Ronnie Marshall scored on the ground for the Mustangs and went over 1,000 yards rushing on the year. Head coach Greg Bonnett touched on his plans for a short week of practice. The PCM football team finished the regular season at 4-5 and 3-3 in Class 2A District 7, as they will play as the four seed in the 2014 playoffs on Wednesday night at Williamsburg.
