Approximately 100 students came to see Democratic candidate for Governor Jack Hatch at Pleasantville Middle School Tuesday.
Hatch stressed the importance of education and answered questions from students, including ones about race relations, campaign contributions, and his opponent, incumbent Republican Governor Terry Branstad.
Pleasantville students have spoken with several candidates from this year’s election, including Representative Dave Loebsack and Second Congressional District candidate Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks.
It won’t the final visit to the area for Hatch before Tuesday’s election. He’s schedule to be at Peace Tree Brewery in Knoxville on Friday beginning at 3pm.
