Meeting a round earlier than they did last season, Pella High and Indianola’s volleyball teams butt heads tonight in the semifinals of the Class 4A regional tournament. The Indians defeated the Lady Dutch in four sets last year to earn a berth in the state tournament in Cedar Rapids, but both teams now are vastly different than they were a year ago. The two schools went head-to-head in tournament play in mid-September, and Indianola came out on top, but the Lady Dutch were without some of their key players. Coach Catie Brand says she thinks with a full roster, her team matches up well tonight with the Indians. The winner moves on to the regional finals next week. Tonight’s match gets going at 7:00 p.m.
