The Pella City Council will likely have to again delay approval of a contract for construction of a new Jordan Well at this week’s meeting.
City of Pella Finance Director Cory Goodenow says that the council postponed action on this item in October to wait for official permits and approval from the DNR. City staff recommends that the council postpone any action until December as they wait for approval. They will also hold the second reading of an ordinance establishing a historic preservation commission. The Pella City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday every month at 7 p.m. inside the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
