It’s Election Day and there are plenty of decisions to be made by voters.
Among the contested races for today’s election are the District 28 State Representative seat between Democratic challenger Megan Suhr and incumbent Republican Greg Heartsill.
In federally contested races, the Second Congressional District race has Republican Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks battling incumbent Democratic Congressman Dave Loebsack, and for the U.S. Senate, Republican Joni Ernst is taking on Democrat Bruce Braley for a seat currently held by Tom Harkin, who decided not run for a sixth term.
And be sure to tune in tonight at 9pm for live election coverage by KNIA/KRLS’s award winning news team. We’ll have live updates from the Marion County Courthouse as election results come in and Dr. Bob Leonard will be joined by Central College Professors Brian Peterson, Andrew Green and Randy Renstrom for results and analysis.
