The Iowa high school football playoffs continued Monday with a pair of area teams in action.

The Little Dutch of Pella continued their undefeated season with a solid 56-14 victory over Newton in the Class 3A Playoffs. The Dutch are now 11-0 on the season, and will continue their march towards a championship on Friday, when they have a rematch from one season ago against the Washington Demons, a game that will be heard on 92.1 KRLS and live online at kniakrls.com. Meanwhile, the season came to an end for Melcher-Dallas as they fell to Fremont-Mills, Tabor by a final of 51-14. The Saints finish their season with a record of 8-3.
