Marion County is ready for Election Day today.
Auditor Jake Grandia says polling places across the county will be open from 7 am to 9 pm. He reminds citizens that absentee ballots must be returned to the Auditor’s Office in the Courthouse by mail or hand delivery no later than when the polls close tonight. Absentee ballots can not be turned in at polling sites. A link to a list of Marion County Polling locations is available here.
Be sure to tune in Election night at 9 pm for live election coverage by KNIA/KRLS’s award winning news team. We’ll have live updates from the Marion County Courthouse as election results come in and Dr. Bob Leonard will be joined by Central College Professors Brian Peterson, Andrew Green and Randy Renstrom for results and analysis.
