Pella Christian’s strong season and first place (tied) finish in the conference garnered several All-Conference honors for volleyball in 2014. Andrea Horstman and Rebecca Gritters each were selected to the first team. Both gals were first and second in kills and were in the top three in the conference in ace serves with north of 50 on the year. Abbi Pleima and Alyssa Starkey were the Eagles’ tandem that wound up on the second team all-conference in the L-H-C. Abby Pleima had 53 aces and over 650 assists, while Starkey recorded 39 aces and led the team in digs. Hannah Beltman and Christa Veenstra each received an honorable mention. Pella Christian finished 24 – 12 and lose seven seniors for 2015.
