The Pella City Council hopes to have made the last round of major change orders to a large scale project nearing completion.
The council approved an additional $116,000 in change orders to the indoor pool renovations. City Administrator Mike Nardini says that while the city has spent more on changes to the project that they typically like to, it still falls well within the budget. He says they anticipated a high number of changes, given the challenges of updating a nearly 40 year old building that wasn’t originally built by the city.
