The City of Knoxville and Hormel Foods Corporation have come to a reimbursement agreement for work to be done to the sewer manholes along Godfrey Lane and East Main Street.

City manager Harold Stewart the manholes between the Waste Water Reclamation Facility and Hormel suffered damage due to a sulfuric compound in the line that ate away at the concrete.

With this agreement, Hormel has accepted to pay for 80 percent of cost for the project.
