Both the Pella and Knoxville HyVees served hundreds of free meals to veterans and their loved ones on Tuesday.

Store Director of Pella HyVee Scott Johnson says that it’s an honor for him to thank veterans in this way, and says it’s a great opportunity to see the bonds and hear the stories of those that have served in the military. In Knoxville, more than 400 veterans were served at the Knoxville Armory, and roughly 350 were served in Pella’s store.
