November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Hanna Ostrander discusses some of the warning signs of Type II Diabetes.
Ostrander says some of the symptoms include frequent urinations, rapid, unexplained weight loss, increased thirst, and numbness in the fingers and toes among others.
Ostrander recommends seeing your primary care provider if you suspect you may have Type II Diabetes and also monitoring your diet in a variety of ways, such as eating healthier, portion control, and reducing your sugar intake.
