The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America has set Tuesday as National Memory Screening Day.

Hearthstone, a Ministry of Wesley Life, will be providing memory screenings at the Pella Cottages on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Director of Health Services at the Cottages Nancy Van Wyk says that the screenings are not meant to diagnose if you or a loved one has alzheimers or dementia, but to see if there are any red flags in regards to memory health. Call 641-628-1244 to schedule a screening time, but if you are unable to do so, Van Wyk says they will work you in.
